Rules & Regulations of the College
To maintain academic excellence, professional ethics, and a disciplined learning environment, all students of Shah Rukn-e-Alam College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, Multan are required to observe the following rules and regulations.

1. Attendance
- Students must maintain the minimum 80% attendance required by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Attendance is mandatory for all lectures, laboratory sessions, clinical rotations, examinations, seminars, and workshops.
- Students with short attendance may not be permitted to appear in examinations.
2. Punctuality
- Students must arrive on time for all academic and clinical activities.
- Late arrival or leaving early without permission may result in disciplinary action.
3. Uniform & Dress Code
- Students must wear the prescribed college uniform during classes and clinical training.
- The official college identity card must be displayed at all times on campus and during clinical placements.
- Students should maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
4. Discipline & Professional Conduct
- Students shall respect faculty members, staff, patients, visitors, and fellow students.
- Any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, violence, or abusive language is strictly prohibited.
- Students are expected to uphold the dignity of the nursing profession both inside and outside the college.
5. Academic Integrity
- Cheating, plagiarism, forgery, or any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited.
- Misconduct during examinations may result in cancellation of the examination, suspension, or expulsion in accordance with college policy.
6. Clinical Training
- Students must strictly follow hospital rules, infection prevention protocols, and patient confidentiality during clinical practice.
- Professional behavior is mandatory in all affiliated healthcare institutions.
7. Campus Conduct
- Students shall protect college property and maintain cleanliness of classrooms, laboratories, library, and campus facilities.
- Damage to college property will be subject to disciplinary action and financial compensation.
8. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices
- Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during lectures, laboratories, clinical training, and examinations unless permission has been granted for academic purposes.
9. Fees
- Tuition fees and other dues must be paid according to the approved fee schedule.
- Failure to pay fees within the prescribed time may result in penalties or suspension of academic services.
10. Leave Policy
- Leave applications must be submitted in writing and approved by the concerned authority before absence, except in emergencies.
- Medical leave must be supported by a valid medical certificate.
11. Library Rules
- Students are responsible for the proper use of library resources.
- Borrowed books must be returned on or before the due date.
- Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for by the borrower.
12. Laboratory Rules
- Students must follow all laboratory safety instructions.
- Laboratory equipment shall be handled carefully and responsibly.
13. Anti-Ragging Policy
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.
14. Drug-Free & Smoke-Free Campus
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol, narcotics, and any illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the college premises and affiliated clinical facilities.
15. Disciplinary Action
Violation of the college rules may result in one or more of the following actions:
- Verbal or written warning
- Monetary fine
- Suspension from classes or clinical training
- Cancellation of examination eligibility
- Expulsion from the college, depending on the severity of the misconduct
16. Amendments
The College Management reserves the right to amend or update these rules and regulations at any time in accordance with the policies of the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC), the affiliating university, and other applicable regulatory authorities.
